We had a great spread yesterday even though it was a smaller crowd than usual, and we were actually trying one menu out for the first time. We made flatbread pizzas on my trusty STŌK Gridiron grill…menu to come in a wee bit…

BUT…before I go any further…the absolute MOST hilarious and memorable moment (sorry Tigers) was when Claire got pooped on by a bird. Apparently, she has ridiculously uncanny luck for this happening to her, or she has done something to anger the entire bird population of the world. Just so you can share in the humor a little bit…here is photo taken right after the unfortunate event:
Makes me laugh just thinking about it! Anyhoo, now that you’re good and hungry after seeing that picture (hopefully you at least got a laugh out of it)…here are 3 tried and true menus for all of you tailgaters out there. We use Punchbowl’s potluck function to have everyone sign up for groceries/dishes each week…more on that another day.

If anyone has suggestions of their favorite tailgate foods, menus, and recipes, I would love to hear or read them! Please feel free to email me or share in the comments.
