Who doesn’t love an easy and cheap fix? If you can’t guess from the headline, this post will be consisting of different conventional and unconventional uses of shower, curtain and tension rods for storage AND decorative purposes! I will try to keep organization and decoration separate but you will see they often overlap!
Can I get some storage and organization, please?
Have limited space in your shower/tub? Use a shower rod with S hooks to hang loofas, baskets, or whatever your heart desires (and gets you squeaky clean)!
It happens to everyone! You’ve left a water trail behind as you frigidly run to grab a towel that you forgot. A simple fix is to hang a dual rod or a second rod outside of your shower curtain to hang your towels.
Some great ways to store pots and pans!
Hmmm… Why not?
And I know you have more than one spray bottle!
Can’t forget those drawers!
Or even your own filing cabinet!
Keep your gift-wrap and gift bags in order!
Oh accessories! Where to put you?

Who’s ready to decorate?
Inexpensive headboards!
Dress up your doorway!
What’s behind that curtain?
A reading nook equals a happy place!
A great tool when hanging décor!
Have an indoor cat? Here is a great way to hide a frustrating but necessary evil…. litter boxes.
A little something extra!
Herbs love hanging in the sunshine!
A great way to childproof drawers!
And finally, don’t forget to hang those curtains right!
A rounded curtain rod for curtains is an easy way to make a window look larger!
How have you used curtain rods, tension rods and shower curtain rods creatively?
A little about myself: I have been happily married for 5 years to a loving husband that spoils me rotten. I am lucky enough to be able to work as Office Manager for my Family’s’ Architectural Firm. If I am not with family or friends, you will find me reading, surrounded by way too many animals (3 dogs and 3 cats – ALL INDOOR)!
