Tasting Fall Flavors with Ginger Recipes

Recently I have developed a new love for ginger. It is such a diverse flavor that has a number of great uses. Ginger also has a ton of health benefits including helping to fight disease, serving as an anti-inflammatory, curbs cancer growth, lowers blood sugar, calms nausea, lowers cholesterol and relieves indigestion. With all of these benefits, I updated my ginger recipes and decided they were so good that they needed to be shared.

Ginger Beverages – I started drinking ginger tea after a trip to Berlin with a dear friend of mine. After that, I was totally hooked and it is definitely one of my go-to bedtime drinks. Here are some ways to make ginger tea and of course our favorite ginger cocktails.

Ginger Desserts – I knew that ginger was used in a lot of fall-flavored desserts, but I really had no idea the amount of ginger desserts there are in the world. Here are our favorites and most unique ginger desserts.

Ginger Entrees – Now when I think of a meal with ginger, my go-to thought is pickled ginger with sushi. But then I remembered there are several recipes where I use fresh or dry ginger to add a warming spice flavor to it. Here are some of the new recipes I have collected that I can’t wait to try.

This ginger salmon salad has the flaky, flavorful roasted salmon on top of kale and romaine, drizzled with warm ginger vinaigrette.

As you can see, ginger has a variety of uses and is so delicious. Not to mention, it’s nutritious benefits – it’s the perfect seasoning to add to any of your fall dishes. I can’t wait to have a ginger-filled fall this year. These additions to our fall dishes will be greatly appreciated in my home and I hope you appreciate them as well.
